Aircraft Dispatcher/Receptionist

Job Description: Schedule and dispatch aircraft for renters and students. Secretarial duties as well.

Reports To: Office Manager
Characteristic Job Tasks and Responsibilities: AM & PM Checklist
Dispatch & Check-in flights properly Answer Phones
Schedule aircraft and Flight Instructors.
Meet or exceed customer needs
Stock Charts, showcases, brochures, flight school and renter drawers, and Gift Certificates
Once a month report to Office Manager on renter updates.
Data Entry i.e. new student/renter enrollment
Regularly update of renter files
Marketing Mail-Outs
Re-Order/ Inventory Showcase Supplies
Receive monies on account and sort mail
Month/year-end procedures (See Checklist)
Graduation packets
Post Office & Bank Run as necessary
Run SFS & HAF Credit Cards (Under authorization of office manager)
Must relate professionally and respectful to all staff members at all times
Other duties as assigned

Work Experience Requirements: Excellent customer service skills required
Previous office/dispatching skills desired
Valid driver’s license required.

Education Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel


FW CFII/MEI Flight Instructor

Snohomish Flying Service has an immediate opening for a FW CFII/MEI Flight Instructor for our busy and long established FAR 141 approved flight school. We are located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and San Juan Island region. We are close to all of the amenities of Seattle and the home of Boeing Aircraft.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Oversee and participate in the provision of flight, simulator and ground instruction in accordance with FAA Part 141/61 and Snohomish Flying Service Training Course Outline. Oversee and participate in student schedules and maintain student records, ensure lesson objectives and completion standards are met by each student. We also provide professional pilot training to International students.

Professional appearance, attitude and adhering to a schedule required.
Excellent record keeping skills, effective communicator is a must.


A&P Mechanic

A&P Mechanic with preferred two years GA experience or A&P Mechanic with Inspection Authorization and minimum 5 years experience needed for full time permanent employment for a busy fixed wing and rotorcraft maintenance facility located at Harvey Field in Snohomish, WA. Shop performs maintenance and repairs on piston singles, light piston twins, Grand Caravan and helicopters (Schweizer 269C & MD 369 D, & E); your resume should reflect experience with these aircraft. This facility provides maintenance for its own Part 141 flight school and Part 135 operations in addition to many privately owned based aircraft. Excellent pay and benefits (medical, dental, life retirement).

Two years GA experience for A&P, 5 years required for IA. Benefits upon satisfactory completion of the probationary period applicable to all full time new hire employees.
