1FW CFII/MEI Flight Instructor

Snohomish Flying Service has an immediate opening for a FW CFII/MEI Flight Instructor for our busy and long established FAR 141 approved flight school. We are located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and San Juan Island region. We are close to all of the amenities of Seattle and the home of Boeing Aircraft.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Oversee and participate in the provision of flight, simulator and ground instruction in accordance with FAA Part 141/61 and Snohomish Flying Service Training Course Outline. Oversee and participate in student schedules and maintain student records, ensure lesson objectives and completion standards are met by each student. We also provide professional pilot training to International students.


Requirements:
Professional appearance, attitude and adhering to a schedule required.
Excellent record keeping skills, effective communicator is a must.

2A&P Mechanic

A&P Mechanic with preferred two years GA experience or A&P Mechanic with Inspection Authorization and minimum 5 years experience needed for full time permanent employment for a busy fixed wing and rotorcraft maintenance facility located at Harvey Field in Snohomish, WA. Shop performs maintenance and repairs on piston singles, light piston twins, Grand Caravan and helicopters (Schweizer 269C & MD 369 D, & E); your resume should reflect experience with these aircraft. This facility provides maintenance for its own Part 141 flight school and Part 135 operations in addition to many privately owned based aircraft. Excellent pay and benefits (medical, dental, life retirement).


Requirements:
Two years GA experience for A&P, 5 years required for IA. Benefits upon satisfactory completion of the probationary period applicable to all full time new hire employees.

Must be able to drive manual transmission
Must be at least 18 years old

We are open for business 7 days a week (Dawn-Dusk, with the earliest shift beginning at 7am and latest shift ending at 8pm in the Summer months)

4Aircraft Dispatcher / Receptionist
Location: Snohomish, WA
Schedule: Part-time (approximately 20–24 hours per week)
Pay: Starting at $19/hour

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Aircraft Dispatcher / Receptionist to support our flight training, aircraft rental, scenic flight, and charter operations. This role is a key point of contact for pilots, students, and customers and plays an important role in daily flight operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
Schedule and dispatch aircraft in accordance with FAA and TSA regulations
Answer and manage multi-line phones and assist customers and pilots Check in flights, manage schedules, process payments, and complete data entry
Support general office, administrative, and marketing mail-out duties Deliver excellent customer service in a professional, team-focused environment

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 12 months of work experience (office experience preferred)
Strong customer service and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Aviation knowledge or dispatch experience is a plus, but not required

- Provide effective flight, simulator, and ground Progress Checks and End-of-Course (EOC) examinations for students, while ensuring full compliance with Part 141/61 and Snohomish Flying Service Training Course Outline.
- Perform thorough assessments of student knowledge, skill, risk management, and regulatory compliance during examinations.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable FAA regulations and internal policies.
- Oversee and participate in student scheduling, maintain student records, and ensure lesson objectives and completion standards are met by each student.
Gold Seal CFI is preferred.

Job Requirements:
- Prior experience with providing Progress/Stage Checks.
- Professional appearance and attitude and adhering to a schedule is required.
- Excellent record keeping skills, effective communicator.
- Hold a current CFII Instructor Rating

Hourly Pilot Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: Pilots are paid by the hour for Flight, Ground, and Simulator Instruction, Scenic Flights, Air Tours, and Administrative Clerical Services.
- Pay rate starting at $38.00 per hour for flight/ground/simulator instruction
